I like the look of the ASUS board. I really like the ROG boards and all the bells and whistles.

I gather the new mobos are out in the next few weeks?

My last 3 motherboards I've had to take out my graphics card to remove the battery, not at all fun when it is plumbed into a waterloop.

The asus is stunning but even the foxconn mobo is good, looks like these new mobos are churning out some serious heat though look at the size off those heatsinks !

Two things,

I thought digital life was an Asus slogan....

Second why would the northbridge chip get hot? There is no longer a memory controller built in to it which was the major part of the northbridge. Maybe there is an nvidia 200 sli chip hiding under there to explain the need for such a big heatsink

Asus board looks fantastic, NB looks weird on the foxconn however it looks like a good idea - airflow will go through that heatsink.

Any idea when these boards come out?

Why on earth have PS2 sockets and a Floppy ?

I still use a PS2 KB as backup & use the floppy for BIOS updates.

This is true, the amount of times I have went for the first Asus boards at each generation only for them to re-release it as a Premium (as they have done for numerous deluxe boards in the past) to fix problems.

I might wait for the second run, would buy Gigabyte but the X38 DQ6 I had before was unstable and died an early death
