If you are looking for 1333 ram go ddr3 and run 5-5-5-18 as its faster :) and yes I know that means changing your motherboard.

I actually think this is the best post..8GB 1066 1.65V with DDR2...just killer :)

1333 5-5-5-24 1T can be hard to do ddr3, some IC's do it some don't. My point was people looking for DDr2 to do 1333 would do better going DDR3 as its a LOT easier with less juice, you just meed the right IC's.

The Blades are now being binned for speeds, we have 1066, 1150 and 1200, on the website. I still feel the 1066 will clock like crazy but you may need to raise voltage to 1.85 or so. Note I did NOT say 2V or anything stupidly higher, tiny jumps with these is all it takes...going from 1.82 to 1.83 may get you from unstable to stable.

Alright my curiosity is peaked... What would this ram do for my setup? An extra 100, 200, 300mhz? Will it drop temps in my system? Is it worth while to upgrade my current sticks to these?

I just bought some of the 1150 stuff - if the PCB is indeed black I will be very happy. Green PCB is so 90s :p

would having 4 of these in a 8gb set up.

A) provide any kind of increase perfomance in multitasking, over 4x1gb
B) hinder any kind of overclock. (not extreme overclocking)

yay - mine have black PCBs and look far nicer than the pictures of them online - even better than the pics verbal posted...

Just giving them a memtest atm - went straight in at rated settings and booted to BIOS fine which was a suprise as this motherboard isn't the best known for its RAM support.
