About to go and buy a 64gb Crucial M4 SSD drive in the next hour
The shop i'll be buying from lists two versions of the drive....
CT064M4SSD2 - 64GB Crucial RealSSD M4, 2.5" SSD, SATA III - 6Gb/s, MLC-Flash, Read 500MB/s, Write 95MB/s *New Version*
and
CT064M4SSD1 - 64GB Crucial m4 Slim 7mm, 2.5" SSD, SATA III - 6Gb/s, MLC-Flash, Read 500MB/s, Write 95MB/s, 35000 IOPS
Being new to ssd drives I thought i best check but as far Im aware the only difference is 2.5mm in thickness? There isn't any hidden benefits of the 7mm drive is there?
Seen as its about £10 cheaper I was going to get the standard 9.5mm drive.
