Nice prices, think I'll nab a 500Gb dedicated for games. Currently it's Windows and room for 1 game on my SSD :(

I have not played BF4 in months because I refuse to play it without an SSD, I can't stomach the load times. And I cannot fit it on my SSD now, it's to big.

Just a heads up.. in the descriptions you have..

4KB Random Read (QD1): Max 10,000 IOPS
4KB Random Write (QD1): Max 40,000 IOPS
4KB Random Read (QD32): Max 97,000 IOPS
4KB Random Read (QD32): Max 88,000 IOPS

Surely one of the bottom 2 must be "Write"?

Looking good on the IOPS side of things, I wonder if this new tech will transpire over to the new SATA interface and be even mroe awesome!

How much do I want one of those 1TB drives! Or several even. I could put my entire steam library on one SSD! Ah that would be bliss.

I'm in the market for a new SSD and want 500GB+

Money aside is it worth holding out for the 850 EVO to come in stock or just get the Pro version?

Is the Pro still the better drive for performance out of the two?

EDIT:

Just bought a 850 PRO 512mb for £225 brand new!

Had to buy it at that price (was a special deal)

We have had stock shipped and we will hopefully be getting stock for the 24th. Sorry that is the soonest we could get stock from Samsung.

I will be getting 100 or so of the 120GB, 100 or so of the 250GB and 50 or so of the 500GB and a few of the 1TB. I will be able to supply all pre-orders and have free stock. Any Pre-orders will be shipped out ASAP but the earlier would be the 29th / 30th.
