Confirmation please, does samsung magician need to run at startup for my ssd, i have done all the settings in magician, or will i loose any speed or settings for my drive if i disable startup in task scheduler, im thinking it does need to be running at startup or while pc is running, thx

With the new magician, they removed a lot of the settings that made it worthwhile so I don't even use the program. If you have RAPID mode, then obviously you'd need it - not sure if you need Magician to run at startup to use this though...

Nope rapid mode installs a service (well a couple actually) into the background when enabled which runs at startup itself without needing magician to be running (just installed).

Is rapid mode useful ? thought i had a setting like that in my uefi bios.

Depends setup to setup and what you are doing - for a lot of stuff it doesn't make much odds really but 1-2 applications can see big gains from it. In my experience on systems with slower SATA connections i.e. older versions like 2 it can provide some benefit as well.
