Use Depressurizer to sort them into categories.
I then created a category called 'Game Queue' where I pop a few games I'm interested in. Then have another 'Now Playing' category to keep track of the few I'm juggling at the same time.

You can also use categories to filter games out that you're not really interested in.
My steam library is at 700+ now, and a lot of them are games which have been gathered from humble bundle etc. that I may never have an interest in playing.

This is a true story. I have 198 games on steam a loan not to mention Uplay origin or gog. I have been deciding for days now what to play. I was looking threw all my library and a pen caught my eye on the desk and started to play with pen taking top on and off.

True but sad story I just cant decide what game to play.

Just wait until a decent game gets released, and right the 200+ off as a bad investment. Dark Souls 3?

You mean delete all but 2 games as in take them off steam and buy them again later. lol.

If you delete them from your Steam library, you don't need to pay again to re-download an owned game.

You really need to decide what you want from your gaming time - escapism (FPS or RPG), simulation (Aerofly, FSX or the train sims), sports etc. Quick fix or something that is a slow build up? I just finished Fallout 4 for about the fifth time and while some portions are a grind, the progress and scaling are such you feel challenged without being over-whelmed. I've now restarted X-Rebirth but with a mind to build up an empire more than the rather flawed and short campaign. In the autumn I'm going to do a Deus Ex reprise with HR and MK back to back. In between times I'll fly the odd trip in FS9 or FSX for a virtual airline.

ha uninstall them I thought you meant delete from account. :p

Last game I really enjoyed was AC Black Flag. I completed that 3 times now and still not board. I loved Far Cry 3 too. Then too many open world games started coming out which I think this is what burnt me up in trying new games or starting them.

I have starting chopping my library down. starting by categorising everything, lumping all the "bundle" games into one category, and giving everything half an hour - an hour. if i hate it straight away, or if i feel i won't play it again, i delete it permanently... im trying to be brutal now.

This might have something to do with it too as I've been where I live now for 3 years and not settled in. I am 37 year old and still living with mum and dad too which can get annoying. I want to move out but cant afford it. Noise distracts me too and be for I moved here I lived there my whole life and was very quiet. Now I live 3 minute walk from town centre and noise of traffic going past all time annoys me too..

A lot of it is trying to start a new game these days. I cant be bothered to learn how it plays and just want to jump into the main game play. Also I loose interest easy. I play for 2 hours on a new game and want to play something else.

Out of all games I have I found my self playing The four Kings casino which is free. Been on 16 hours in 5 days since I got it. that due to I dont have to use my brain and have to remember what happened if I take a break.

You could try what I do - I have around 5 games that I'm playing alongside each other - I usually only play an hour or level/chapter of each one each day and then move on to the next. Perhaps one day I'll only have time to play 3 out of the 5 games and on the next day I'll play the 2 I missed and one of the others and repeat that cycle - it keeps things fresh for me. I also try to have a structure for those 5 games by loosely categorising them, for example at the moment I try to play:

A straight FPS
A big RPG
An older game that I missed
A casual point & click adventure
A horror game

Sometimes these categories will change depending on what is in my library but I'm like you - I have 270 games in my library of which I've yet to play close to 100 of them - I just can't stop buying games. This structure helps me stay disciplined though - it's like having a plan to get through them...

You need to think of them like toys, or guitars, or wives... you cant play with them all at once, but you need to stick with the ones that make you happy and the ones you can see yourself keeping. have a little play with all of them, but ditch them if its not right :D

No, I mean uninstall all but 2, complete the single player game then uninstall that, and install the next one. I did it last year, I actually got through 20 of my 200 games, it would have been more but I have a Rust addiction

Ive uninstalled most my steam games. I've left Elite, Flight sim World. Fallout 4 as it too big to uninstall with texture pack on top to install again later. I don't no if it going to be a big mistake as its an open world I am going to try the witcher 3 GOTY with Expansion. Had it on gog a while and they gave you GOTY version free.
