Too many games.

I'm the same, nice steam library + others. But when daughter is in bed I'd rather tweak my overclock and voltages for a while and test or open her up to "check cable management/dust".

I've gotten a bit sad

I used to have loads of spare time to sink into a game and get really into it.

I have hardly any time now, and when I do get time I'm too tired to be bothered to take it seriously so I end up starting it and closing it again within about 15 minutes.

Games are for those with lots of time.

That is why I have so many unfinished games. I'm always amazed to see some people on PSN that always seems to have the latest game two days before release and they've completed it within 3 - 5 days. Racking up endless trophies and platinum. How do they have the time... They cannot have a job with so much time spent on games? Day and night you can see some always playing checking on the Playstation mobile app.

I've still got games that are 10 years old that I haven't completed. PC and Playstation.

I love gaming but not to the extent some people constantly live on them. My gaming can range for a few hours each night and go 4 - 5 - 7 days at a time without gaming again.
Plus I never buy every game that is going like some, just some that really appeal to me. Even deals I've deliberately missed out on because of the ones I've already got and unfinished.

I have over 600 on steam alone and spend ages just looking at my library trying to figure out what I am in the mood to play, by the time I decide i'm out of time to play it. It hasn't stopped me buying more in the steam sale though :)

My problem is I get into a game, but burn myself out before I finish it and then cant go back to it. Currently sat here trying to decide which of the 10 or so half finished games I should complete before starting something new.

Now everyone is on SSD and cannot install them all anyway. :p:D

For me personally I've completed more games when I've been away without Internet than I ever have when home with a stable connection. I think Dota 2 is too addictive and means I just play that instead.

Removing distractions is the hardest thing. More games means you feel less inclined to stick with one.

Just bought 6 more games in sale. greee. lol

Lords of the fallen (looks pretty good really)

X-Rebirth Home of light. (Home of light)

J.U.L.I.A Among the stars

thats my problem as well, too much choice

I've developed a bad habit of going back and replaying games I *know* I will like rather than eating into my ridiculous Steam backlog and "risking" wasting my time on something which may turn out to be rubbish in comparison, whilst still continuing to add to the list in the current sale. This habit is even worse with games that come in a trilogy or such like, where I have only played the first. I will say to myself, right let's finally get round to playing Mass Effect 2, but since its been a year since I played ME1 let's play ME1 again first. But, then by the end I am burned out and never start ME2, let alone going on to ME3. I've done this twice with this game. I've owned ME2 and 3 since release and have never played them.
