cheers for that. Steep was a game I thought looked really interesting on release so might have a go on that...

WD2 is more "fun" and less serious than WD1 Vincent. can control those raising cherry pickers and drive em around to reach buildings and goodies ;) or control vehicles from it lol.

picked up wildlands for £21. see what its like when its finished downloading.

How'd you manage that price bud!? It's listed at £26.79 right now in the Ubi shop sale, and was earlier today when I bought it.

EDIT - gah, just seen, you can get a further 20% off with 100 ubisoft points or whatever they are called. I've got 207 sat there doing nothing. No idea how to apply them to a shop sale. ******* ubisoft.

nice their doing a sale but not buying Ubisoft games after their Watch dogs 2 stupidity. (you have to install a weird dodgy looking MP aniticheat software for SP!)
not buying EA software either After their bad releases.

Didn't get on with steep when I first got it but keep going back to it and definitely liking it more each time.
One of those games with a definite "one more try" vibe going on and before you know it, hours have passed.

Steep was a strange one for me. I played the Alpha a lot but soon got bored but then played some more and enjoyed it. The lack of tricks etc was the reason I didn't get it but it sure was a great looking game. Still might pick it up but not in any hurry.

I got the gold version, used the 20% off for 100 units, saved just under £10 off the sale price.

Tempted by Wildlands, but I played the beta and my fps was all over the place. Have patches corrected the performance issues?

I'll probably get the division on Monday (once I know I'll have the money to cover the gold edition), but I probably won't be getting that far into it without a CPU upgrade since while it runs in low mode with everything turned down, some objects don't render fast enough and I've had several instances of getting shot up by invisible enemies.

Looking at this site reminds me of getting a free copy of Far Cry 3 when I bought my 7970 a few years back. Can't see the game in my account, though.

That seems to be a bit of a bug with regards to the objects/textures not rendering quick enough, I never had it when the game first released but one of the patches seemed to introduce the issue, seems to be random for me too, never had invisible enemies though.

Not sure on your rig but dx 12 provides a massive boost too, I run everything max @ 2560x1080 except the shadows, reflections and no AA (I find the game doesn't need any) and the sliders for distance and detail are about 70/80% and the game doesn't drop below 50 fps 95% of the time.
