£30 for the Aourus seems worth it
Mostly made up my mind to get a 1080. I've seen a Gigabyte G1 at £500 an Aourus at £530 but then for a little bit more there is a second had 1080ti at £575 on sale.
Plan is to get a 1400p 144Hz monitor.
Thoughts? I'm attracted to cheap and cheerful but the extra £30 for the Aourus seems worth it. Not sure how comfortable I feel spending so much on a second hand card. And probably don't really need all that power.
The Aorus I refer to is this one.
It's a little confusing because on the OC page it shows a 10Gpbs memory card... but boost clock is 1936Mhz... whilst another retailer has the extreme edition 11Gpbs memory but same boost clock of 1936Mhz. £10 more tho.
So you say the Aorus has a quieter cooler than the G1?

Also I can see two kinds of Aorus. One has core clocked the other has memory clocked.
I am one of them. Been looking at 1080's all evening.I personally feel like with Vega Nvidia are going to get some new customers.

I feel sorry for anyone who waited. I was nearly one of them. Glad I didn't, what a huge disappointment.
