And my god is the back a fingerprint magnet. Beginning to wish I'd gone for the silver one as I'm guessing that the marks wouldn't show so badly with the white back.

I'm missing Touch ID already. Having to reach over (when it's sat on my desk to my right) and tip the phone up so it can see my face to unlock it is going to become tiresome very quickly I think.
Much like when I got annoyed with my Nexus 6P that had the fingerprint sensor on the back.

No chance of my losing this one to the Mrs. When she saw it she said "Why did you downgrade to a smaller phone?"

That's why I think I'll be buying two of those wireless chargers which props the phone up. one for my desk and the other for work

I think this phone will get better as software is optimised. Ios11 feels like it’s support for the X is rushed. Lots of rough edges and silly design decisions such as the big area under the keyboard and Safari leaving a white bar at the top.

Struggling to justify buying one. Had a play today and not really sure for its price to be frank. Think I’ll end up going back to Android soon

Just opened mine and think it looks absolutely gorgeous. Have a note next to me and comparing it to that the screen looks much better colour wise. I believe truetone is supposed to adjust the white point so it calibrated more accurately. Where as phones like the Samsung ones are more saturated so if your used to them this will look yellow until your eyes adjust. The only downside so far for me is the size. I would have loved a plus model of this phone as I'm so used to the Galaxy note sizes and have large hands so there just more comfortable to look at for me.

Dont really see the point in the live ones.
Who is going to press and hold their wallpaper just to see it move occasionally! if it always moved in some form then fair enough

I would rather it moved all the time too... but I picked it because it looks good stationary.

Mines coming 9/10th wasnt interested in going out of my way to order so waited untill i got home from work.

The screen on the X is nicer but I think Android is far better at real estate management. Fonts are set to the smallest on both devices.
Right now I feel the 2XL is a better choice for me.

Like most things Apple, you don’t notice it. It just works.

Ooooh. Just been playing with the camera modes that use the Face ID stuff. Very impressive indeed.

Other good stuff is the gestures. It’s so natural to swipe between apps and bring up the switcher. It took me 1 minute to learn and now I don’t want to go back.

Yup I agree about the swipe up really prefer it than home button already in the habit of it. Really loving this phone

Quick question re face id.

My phone is in a holder when driving and due to the position of it and general use of sat nav its usually facing at me and i can see my reflection.

Will the x constantly be unlocked when not being used for satnav purposes?
