I honestly get the feeling this card isn't going to be that much faster, hence they're emphasising so much on the tech side of it, essentially dangling a carrot to take the glare off the obvious.

The problem is that the 2080ti already costs 50% more than the 1080ti right now and it's really unlikely it will come close to offering 50% more performance. The pricing is outrageous

Time to start looking on the MM.

I'm sure there will be some fools with more money than sense just foaming at the mouth to upgrade their 1080tis :D :p ;)

GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti
Founders Edition
£1,099.00

GEFORCE RTX 2080
Founders Edition
£749.00

GEFORCE RTX 2070
Founders Edition
£569.00

If the 2080ti was £569 I would consider one...

Oh great a demo, and when you buy one of these cards you can run this demo over and over and over, and maybe 5 years down the line you can try and play a game with some of this stuff in it.

Lmao this is exactly what will happen. It will be years until RTX is used in games

Yup, and this is the nvidia RRP, if we factor in the usual launch day bs and all the excuses etailers have to fall back to ratchet the price up, £1100 is probably best case scenario.
