So apparently the 2060 Super is going to be £400 - £430...
What a world!
The car companies don’t have an issue though. They just keep jacking up the price to make sure they can offer stuff others don’t. I generally buy Euro cars because the Japanese and Korean stuff can’t compete on all fronts. But at least you get something extra for what you pay - it’s not like an iPhone where you pay more and just get a different operating system. You can choose to buy an expensive car, and at least it looks good inside and out and sounds nice and is fast.
The "leaked" pricing for 2060 Super is $430.Wasn't they supposed to be coming in at the price point of their normal variants?
£400 is ridiculous for a card that will probably match up with a £300 Vega 64.
And loses a ridiculous amount the moment you drive it off the forecourt was kind of depressing when I was looking at buying a pickup recently - good spec ~50 grand new and not even a year old with almost no mileage and they were down to 30 grand and 12-18 month old ones in good condition and reasonable mileage were like 17 grand (and not beaten up around the farm or anything like that).
Dunno, maybe problem for those who buy new but I am quite happy for others to pay the tax as well as huge 1st 18 month depreciation just for a bit of new car smell and I will happily buy 2nd hand.... So I have no problem with depreciation.
I always said no matter how well of I am if I have 13k to spend on a car I will buy 18month old 20k car.. if I have 30k to spend I will buy 18month old 50k car.
Seems the claims about faster memory were BS then. They've just added 10% more cores and ungimped the 2060's VRAM.
Snap, 1080ti and an X34, just pointless GPU's at present to really upgrade too.Yep, nothing worthy of an upgrade. At this rate I am in danger of running out of warranty on my 1080Ti. It’s a long time since that has happened with a graphics card.
Waiting for something to entice me away from my 1070SLI setup.
From benchmarks, it seems to keep up with 2080TI in many games.
