used the asus one then the new one on amd site ..

The latest ASUS chipset driver 1.7.29.0115 looks like it includes the latest AMD update, but it's prerequisite is that you need to:
- Update AMD chipset driver 19.10.xx first before update this driver

What I'd try is to install the following from ASUS website and in this order:
  1. Chipset driver version 19.10.22
  2. Chipset driver version 1.7.29.0115

If you bought the motherboard from OCUK, yeah probably worth asking them what those unrecognised devices are and what drivers are needed, then take things from there.

I have a similar issue on the Strix X470-F following the BIOS update to 5007 and subsequently 5204 and it won’t POST at anything other than 2400MHz Auto following the BIOS update. I have the same 3600Mhz CL16 kit as you, which was stable at 3200MHz at 14-14-14-31 on my 2700X prior to the BIOS update to 5007.

I have been advised by Asus to RMA the board through their tech support.

Running latest Chipset drivers.

Sorry probably a little late, the the PCi encryption controller and PCI device could be related to the TPM module, did you enable it by accident in the bios ?

The other one is a USB controller, not a device as such.
not that I know of .. even on bios defaults it's there ..
so if it's on by default I would not know where to look ..
