shield and sword

A genuine historical sword or a reproduction/modern one?
What style, historical era or fictional/fantasy?

Why not post a picture of what you want.
There's literally unlimited combinations of shield and sword?

Me I'd have a Roman scutum and gladius.

Look on the Armourclass website, they make swords for reenactors as well as sharps. Based in Glasgow.

Well a old one gonna be mega bucks but modern replica. Not stainless steel jobbie for £50 but proper forged and hammered.

Modern replica swords can cost £2K for a well made museum quality one, so "modern replica" doesn't rule out "big bucks". That's for a plain sword, not a fancy sword with elaborate decorations in gold and gems to display your wealth.

I think you'd need to narrow things down a bit first. There have been a lot of swords and a lot of shields. Obviously you're after a one-handed sword (due to the shield), but what time period and what location?

Where's your telly gonna go? Also, will you get a good view of both your weaponry and your new telly location from the corner sofa? :D
