Got my 3 houses ready and one resident has turned up. Also a cow selling carpets and some kind of hippy dude who has invited me to his island. Farming rocks is so much easier now that I have a ladder!

20 nuggets is going to take a while considering how few rocks I have on the island.

get a nook miles ticket and go to a few islands. you can farm iron nuggets and get those 20 pretty quickly.

You can do what I mentioned to PiKe just now. Go to an island and there will be stones around
Now that I have the ladder using Nook miles tickets to get to island is so much more rewarding. I found an island with 5 rocks on it which were up on areas that I couldn't get to previously. Also on my own island I have access to a lot more resources now that I can climb. Nuggets and clay aplenty!

I gave a friend 30 ore yesterday so he could do his museum or shop (can't remember which). You don't need it that much after the first few days so it accumulates. Obviously don't sell any of it but its only at the start that its really scarce.
Caved and bought it! Downloading now. Playing board games with some friends over Skype tonight but hopefully I'll be able to have a crack later tonight
