In my boredom I am looking to increase space and update some old SSD's.

I've bought a Crucial 500gb SSD and want to clone one of my existing games drives, which is only a 250gb SSD. I've got a USB 3.0 Sata thing to plug the new one in to clone onto, but Acronis True image is asking me some questions I'm not sure about.

So auto cloning settings makes the disc bootable, which I don't need right?

Manual settings state -

1, Copy partitions without changes.
2. Copy partitions and use a disk as a non-system, GPT style.

Which settings does one need?

Cheers,

Papa

If source drive is plain normal data drive without any of special OS/system partitioning on it, you could simply create partition on new drive and copy content of old drive onto it without any cloning software use.
