m.2 plug and play?

ive got a 250gb samsung m.2 for OS and am waiting on delivery of a 960gb corsair m.2 for games.

is it just a case of fit it and install my games to it or are there any motherboard settings that i have to change?its a gigabyte aorus master G2.

only other drive apart from the samsung is a 1tb ssd that is for storage

Just pop it in, boot up, in Windows load up Disk Management and it should recognise it and allow you to partition it and job done.

I’ve just done the exact same thing this evening myself.

I only had a single 1TB NVME drive, went and got a 2TB NVME for my 2nd M.2 slot as I was tired of filling it with a few games. :D
