Bought a 'minimalist' hifi setup. More of a compromise for the other half as she hates big speakers, stands, multitude of black boxes and cables.
Gone down the KEF route, LS50 Wireless II + KC62 sub and a Rega planar 8 turntable with Apheta 3 cartridge and Fono MC.
Just need to finish tidying the cables and experiment with sub positioning.
(She hasn't complained..yet)

You can tuck the speaker power cable in through the standmount tube surely? Or cable tie them to the back of the tube anyway so they are out of sight

I'd get one of those myself if they had an ethernet port and didn't force you to use wifi.
You can get a plug that's got an ethernet socket built in to it.

Tbh, I only use iplayer, YouTube and Netflix and already have those in my smart tv, but as I'm using wireless buds, I bought the Firestick because it has an AV sync adjuster. When I stream from the tv directly it doesn't let me adjust for bluetooth audio and often there's a bit of lag between sound and picture so hopefully the firestick will sort that out. Mine cost £40. The 4k version is £50.
