Seems strange - there is definitely a market for it both creators and consumers so they will simply go elsewhere.

I just can't imagine that will make up for the losses long term - the main stay of their creators are those producing adult content and they won't stick around the same or the income be the same with a cleaner site.

Seriously? They are going to take a huge hit. Another big website is about to pop up then.

I don't think Twitch has any adult content. It just has very very 'grey area' content such as girls body-painting themselves, talking crap in bikinis or licking their microphones for hours. Basically it seems that they were pretty much forced into accepting some of that 'grey area' content or lose a **** tonne of revenue.

But it's definitely a sign of the times that business sense is more important than education now. If you're an attractive girl who's good at self-promotion you can make a very decent amount of money on Twitch doing comparatively very little.

Then the top girls moved to doing the same thing in ASMR as they were doing in pools, and Twitch banned them. These women also used Twitch to funnel people to their Only Fans.

This was bad for advertisers who didn't want to be involved in this, and real female streamers (ie not "Twitch THOTs"), who were put under pressure to behave in the same way, or who were excluded from advertising campaigns because some of the big advertisers avoided all female streamers for fear of what they might do in a stream.

I can't really understand this, unless they're actually not really making money... surely p0rn is the most sustainable business model ever, because it's not as if people are going to get bored of it any time soon.

That's what I was wondering, too. Isn't being nude sexually explicit in itself? Or maybe it's non-aroused v aroused.
