Onlyfans to ban adult content

I've been told there is a number of other similar sites.

But alas, if people move to those sites then the same thing will happen to them.

Why are the banks dictating what people can buy with OUR money? I've never used OnlyFans. I've only heard of it being a popular site.

This isn't the first time banks are dictating to people what they can spend their money on, whether its a currency they don't like, or political views they don't like. The banks need to go back to being neutral and following the law.

3 pages of folks not able to do basic research. Porn isn't banned it's just degenerate **** that's no longer acceptable.

Where did you get the list from?

Is it a new list or as those rules always been enforced?

Update: On looking in to this further it appears that OF haven't been removing illegal content from their site. So I can understand why the banks are threatening to pull the banking services unless it sorts itself out. Though from the report I've seen the problems may still continue as the problem seems to be the lack of moderation rather than what the majority of content providers do.

I don't know why in 2021 there is a general lack of moderation for these types of sites. It's not like they lack the funds to be able to hire lots of moderators.

One would have thought money talks, everyone is getting rich from it, even the bank with their fee in every transaction.

I'm sure these strong independant entrepreneurs / business owners as they claim to be will be fine. :p

The damage is already been done if they want to rebrand as people associate Onlyfans as adult content.

So basically the same as Tumblr removing explicit material and PH only allowing verified creators, they can't get rid of the illegal/underage content fast enough.

At least there's a tonne of hospitality jobs available....

Lol, like everyone else this is just so funny. I thought that was pretty much what they did for a business lol. I laughed when I saw legitimate adds for yoga, hiking or exercise classes with women in spandex. They are gonna struggle to get rid.of the rep, and should probably rebrand.

Side note: I find the term simps that people keep using hilarious, especially in this context. When i was growing up it was the rough and tough working class guys buying the daily star for the naked girls and paying random women for a "quick service". Somehow, though only "weak pathetic" men do this /rolleyes. It's like "boomer", a low effort insult because you're not creative enough.

I get your point but "back in the day" you couldnt just google it. I find it odd that people would pay nowadays but whatevs.

This is the bit thats confusing. If you want to watch porn, go to pornhub. If you want to watch amateur porn, go to pornhub. If you want to watch pretty girls get as close to naked without actually being naked, go to the beach or look on facebook/instagram/anywhere else young women hang out.

I'm still not quite sure how the porn industry makes any money honestly.

^ I know a girl that had a big social media following and started an OF on the premise of it being just ‘shots that were a bit too much for IG’. Ended up doing hardcore just because ‘show a bit more = more money comes in’ ended up netting her £20k a month on the regular. Husband behind the camera, he was a layabout pretty much, just mumping off her newfound wealth.

Anyway, the way OF works isn’t just luring people in to pay the monthly subscription to see your feed, that’s the baseline, you then have some content that’s only viewable if you pay additional money (the bonus shots/vids etc), you can also charge for ‘custom’ content via DMs or you can just receive tips because tipping extra just shows what an amazing fan you are…

All you have to just talk to your audience like you’re talking to them as individuals and sell this sort of online gf experience and it seems there’s a generation of men who are quite willing to throw their money at women they’ve never met genuinely believing they have some sort of deeper connection than the ‘regular’ fans on IG/Twitch/YouTube/Twitter, than have a real physical relationship. It’s really, really weird.

The good creators know how to wield the carrot and stick so that subscribers will always keep renewing and paying the extra in hope/expectation for more and it reliably works as long as you’ve already got a social media following elsewhere.

Sounds like common story on a lot of them. Belle Delphine anyone?
