128 cores zen 4 CPUs coming next year will smash it

Imagine such a stage in technology that processors are so powerful you can program, stream, watch videos, render, processor code crunching, 3D modelling and game without a performance hit.

Cant you already do that? 3990x should be great for that, just assign 8 cores for each process

12900K@ 5.2ghz all core for anyone interested. I think it boosts between 5.3/5.4ghz single.

Nice ST scores!

@humbug time to dethrone the 5950x on the ST leaderboard ;)

Dang! You've owned 218 processors? I even see an Athlon Thunderbird 1200. :D

Not even a GeForce 2 Ultra in that list. I'll let you off with the GeForce 2 MX though.
Yes those are the ones I've submitted with on hwbot. I think a few might have got missed out. On LGA 775 I went nuts as they were so cheap. Got 50 of the same CPU sometimes to find good ones.

Great score mate, well done. :)

It's about time Dave, your 11900K was not able to beat the 5950X in this one. That's two new CPUs from Intel during the 5950X reign at the top.

The ADL score is impressive, can't see it being beaten for some time in ST.

I didn't try R23 ST on my 11900k, not sure why you assumed this. I did beat your 5950X in CPUZ afaik:

I'll do a few R23 runs this week/weekend before I install my 12900k if I get the time, though @humbug appears to refuse to update the OP to include any Intel CPU's on the leaderboard anyway, I guess that'll need moderator attention or something else to make a new 'official' thread that is updated ;)

I don’t think it’s anti Intel bias. Looking back there were several requests for Intel scores, and your scores in particular, from Humbug and others prior to his abandoning of the thread. Since he stopped updating it neither AMD nor Intel scores have been added.

Some may have noticed i haven't updated this thread since April.

I don't have as much time as i used to and its feeling like too much of a chore, Sorry.

Feel free to make your own.

What a hypocrite, you get asked nearly a dozen times to post 11900K scores but just ignore it. You are just as bad as the other blind fanboys Dave.

At least this will give a bit of an indication, if he shuts up and goes away once he gets his motherboard we know his 12900k can't beat 32k to top the leaderboard... We'll never see the actual result if that is the case but it's something :p

Precisely this. Though to be fair, Dave isn't just as bad he seems to be one of the worst.

I would have genuinely liked to have seen some scores from his 11900K at 5.4Ghz and 4400Mhz memory overclock. (Not like some that just didn't believe he had one)

It is one thing to be have been starting a new thread nearly every day extolling the virtues of RL at the time but then not offer up any benchmarks showing how good his was, to me, is just the worst kind of person.

He should be the very last person to berate humbug for not updating this thread - whatever humbug's reasons are, when he couldn't even be bothered to submit an offering when asked multiple times to do so.

I've been told windows 10 is actually slightly faster and there is a new bios for my board. I might try again later. My cache is stuck at 36x all the time.

Not expecting huge gains but should get me over 30,000.
