it's improved. it's not as fleshed out as steam but it's functional. given the amount of stuff they give away the only reason not to install it is stubbornness imo.
they take a far smaller cut from developers as well. that said I won't lie. if the price is the same on both stores I do still lean towards valve , not sure why tbh....all things being equal if you want to actually support Devs then GOG>Epic>Steam

Epic requires windows UAC permissions, Steam does not. I've got round that by installing an opensource launcher called Heroic. It was about as stable as Michael J. Fox on a Spacehopper on my PC when I last had it installed 2-3 years go.

It is a good game. I bought it when it came out. Need to finish it still though. Too many games to play.

I played it a while ago but I will definitely be jumping in game again, I believe there's been a few updates and possibly a few extras added to the game, I'm not sure what exactly, but it's a lot of fun to play either way.
