What PC games are you playing?

KCD 1 & 2 are well worth your time in my opinion...

Star Citizen has really come along in leaps and bounds since I started playing 2 years ago with no signs of slowing down. They've added a 3rd star system, and the next major update is due to drop this month with engineering gameplay. Can even fight the Vanduul in the PU now.

I'm afraid to ask, but gotta... Can you actually play Star Citizen now? I pledged way back in 2013 and bought a fighter (think a 300...). I uninstalled everything around 2016 and haven't kept up on anything except for the memes about it never coming out to keep selling assets. Is there actually a playable game now?

No.

Yes, its actually very playable. With major updates happening roughly once a month. There's plenty of bugs etc but its got more playability than most other games.

Star Wars Outlaws currently on a 70% sale. I do like the Star Wars franchise, but I've had such mixed reviews on this. It is worth risking it for the £17.99 discounted price?

Have had a very busy november and early dec so have been relaxing in the evening with a blast back to the Serious Sam series. Those mid 2000 games feel like vital now uncomplicated just run and gun and the enjoyment comes from the kinetic feeling of it more than anything else.

Finished COD MW1 2019 SP campaign last night. Rather good I must say, short and sweet, but some great parts none the less.
Now starting MW2 2022's SP campaign. Then MW3 2023 SP will follow.
I really like the characters, they were great in the original versions, but really have come to life in these newer versions.

I'm glad I took a long hiatus from COD games and only focused on the MP on MW3, as this has been a pleasant surprise, as sometimes you don't want to spend 40 hours + finishing a SP story.

Don't you just love it when this happens?

Subbed to Game Pass again, mainly to appease the kids who want something to play on the cloud. I notice a game called "Dome Keeper". Fired it up and hooked straight away, played one map. Nice, I thought. I'll get it on Steam. Go to the store and search and it's already in my library! Must have got it from an old Humble Choice or something. :D

i keep having to double check across various storefronts if i actually own a game now a days, so many cheap deals on pc games and then a massive list of free ones from epic lol

then put my consoles in the mix and im one confused bunny in headlights :P

I upgraded from a 1080p 60hz monitor to a 1440p 180hz monitor just before new year. I've exclusively been playing Old School Runescape since November...

I used to play RS2 with 3 or 4 friends back when we were 14/15. We all moved on from it just before the likes of Half Life 2 and The Orange Box came out, then last year I got the itch to try it out again at the age of 34. None of my friends have played it in years and I had to start from scratch on OSRS because my original character got moved to RS3, which I have little interest in. Just need to exceed combat level 76 to better my younger self. Currently, I'm at combat level 58, but I'm focusing on quests and other skills before working on combat levels again.

Had to restart my Baldur's Gate 3 game because the pathing of the companions got everyone killed in my honour mode run. Think I might drop playing as Dark Urge and try an Arcane Archer build for my next attempt.

I've also just started playing Aska, enjoying it so far... though my current settlement is a little bit of a mess and needs to be rebuilt to look and work a bit better.
