Advice on cloning OS SSD to larger SSD

Hi
I need more space on my C drive, so I'll be upgrading from a 1tb Samsung EVO 870 to a 4tb version keeping my current installation of Windows 10 etc.

My questions:
If I use Samsung Magician will it automatically "expand" the partition to fill the new drive without creating a seperate partition/unallocated space?
I believe Macrium will?

Will my existing Windows 10 installation be ok, or will it somehow deactivate? No other hardware is being changed.

Don’t worry it won’t deactivate.

I would use Macrium for this personally.

There will be an option in the partition properties when cloning to ‘shrink or extend to fill the target’.

+1 for Macrium, I used the extend option when going from 256 to 512

So, I got home with the new 4tb drive, used macrium, clicked the extend or shrink option and 21 minutes later my new bigger ssd is in and running.
Perfect!
Windows stayed activated and I only had to reauthorise a few vst plugins, otherwise, painless
