Why not? Epic have given away a lot of games and there has been previous recycling of free games. Arguably it gives some people the chance to catch up on giveaways that they missed. As long as there are some decent new ones in the mix I don't think we can complain too much about their Christmas freebie event.

Slime Rancher was a surprisingly good game, and adored by my daughter. I'll be very pleased if Slime Rancher 2 is really on the list.

No idea if that's true, but it is killing my already limited enthusiasm for picking up old games that I might not immediately play.

I'd thought about buying Hogwarts Legacy a few times when it was around £7, but figured I'd wait a bit longer and here we are.

Same story with Jurassic World 2 and RDR2.

I have wanted to get RDR2 on PC for ages. Hope the leaked list above is true. I enjoyed it on the Xbox but the controls always annoyed me.

GTA V has been free on the epic store at one point, saw someone mention it was after the game had been out 7 years and RDR2 has now been out 7 years as well. Its also heavily reduced in price on steam at the moment, but then it tends to spend more time at the reduced price than full price so means nothing
