Post your christmas bonus

Bonus of ~€6,300 and then an extra bonus of ~€4,000. ~6% salary increase, too

Having worked in a job for many years with no bonus and neglible increases, it's a nice change (that I'm still getting used to)

No bonus this year, but got a lovely email this week from the top saying how much they appreciate the admin teams.
And to show this, in January, they're going to do a 'Review and Transformation'. Not sure exactly what that means, but it sounds good!
They're going to visit all the bases soon to do it and its going to be a really exciting period of
change, so nice of them, Id much rather a jargon word salad right before Xmas, well chuffed!

Isn't that a polite way of pre-warning you, in January, people will be asssessed to whether they get to keep their jobs?

I get to work Christmas Eve and be on call all over the “festive period”

Last year I was in hospital so, does kinda feel like a bonus tbh.

Aren't you used to being on call 24/7 365 anyway, being that you're a moderator ;)

I got absolutely naff all for as long as I worked for my last company. So I left and got a 20% pay rise. Still won't get a Christmas bonus, but those extra few beer tokens make it plenty good enough.

Yes, it is something like that. They haven't said that directly, but I'm sure it's in the toolkit as it has been with previous shake-ups.

Sorry to hear that :(
It gave me major Office Space flashbacks, when they host all those meetings to fire people.

What Christmas bonus?

Last time I had one was 2019 and it was a £25 M&S gift card. Didn't get one in 2020, company claimed 'cos of covid' but they actually had a better year money wise.
