*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

I don’t really care that much. When I get used to it it’s fine and actually more intuitive to me eventually. I did start out using the snes as my first console though so maybe that’s why.
I came from the SNES-era too and I think it took me a while to get used to PS etc, but so used to X now, that when I had a Switch briefly, it genuinely messed with my 40-year-old brain. I just wish the onscreen mappings would reflect what you’ve changed/swapped at a system level. Can’t be that hard to implement, surely? Though saying that, I have my PS5 set at a system level to default to inverted look and half the time the games ignore it :D

Few deals on the eshop if anyone fancies them. Cyberpunk £34.99 and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope £4.50 (great game!). Fast Fusion £9.44. The ones that stood out for me. Tempted by Civ VII at 35% off but will wait for a deeper sale I think. Loved Civ VI on the OG Switch.

Metro 2033/Redux dual pack for around £2.30 is also very worth looking at :)
(if you've not played on PC or a more powerful machine)

Great games :)

I'm more into Physical as me and the wife both have machines and digital becomes too much of a faff in most cases, but I've got friends who are loving the sales etc atm! Some bargains on eshop, loaded etc.

Really enjoyed Mario and Rabbids, was a fun, relaxing game. Would recommend.

Has anyone here played the Tomb Raider IV-VI collection on the Switch 2? i'm tempted to pick it up primarily for the 4th game but I just want to ensure there are no issues with it?
I'm sure I read somewhere that upon release there were issues of sorts with the Switch version, I think sound issues and general stability issues?

I haven't played it, but the only Switch specific issue I'd heard about is resuming the console from sleep can crash the game sometimes - that may be fixed now, but not sure.

It's been patched since release to improve lighting and audio I believe (for all platforms).

Of cause Nintendo haven't done any christmas deals on most the games i wanted :(

For example

Super Mario Bros

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2

Luigi's Mansion 3

I want the Super Mario Galaxy bundle and Luigi's Mansion 3 as well. They are cheaper to get the physical game from Amazon than to get the digital download.

I already ordered the Mario Wonder game off amazon last weekend because it was cheaper.

First party Nintendo stuff does go on sale occasionally (surprised there is nothing this year) and usually it is 33% max. So if you don’t mind physical then either online or CEX 2nd hand is mostly the best option on price.

We don't have Cex over here,
I may put a post on Facebook asking for if anyone selling any of these games.I maybe be lucky with them being older Switch 1 games

Thanks for the response. I've picked it up, it was only £16 which for me is worth it for Tomb Raider IV alone

Got a Switch 2 for my niece. Was thinking of getting a Micro SD card for future proofing. Can anyone recommend the best bang for the buck card please?
