What did you do to your bike today?

I do keep looking at these sorts of things for mine. Was the black base wrap done by a place, or yourself? I essentially want someone clever to do it all for me!

The base wrap was done by a pro. I did buy some wrap and attempted it but it was quite a complicated shape and I gave up. The pro did a pro job. Charged me £100. I did all the vinyl myself.

Got my 36k valve clearance check service done and a new rear tyre. Managed to get a few miles in on Saturday to get a heat cycle through it. It started off blue sky today so I thought I might get some more, but now it's going grey and dark :(.

Back to working on an update to my nav mount!

Was lovely weather over the weekend down south, got 150miles in.

Woke up this morning to a flat rear tyre though. The bike is a week old! Bad luck or more something to worry about do you guys think?

Didn't have chance to inspect the tyre.

Can’t imagine why anyone would choose to ride at this time of year, it’s bloody awful.
Started both mine up Saturday night, sat on them for a minute, then got frustrated I can’t use them, then went inside and necked a bottle of wine.

Was nice enough at the weekend, after fifteen years I've finally bought and wired in a heated jacket thing to go underneath. Makes a big different to long distance comfort at this time of year. And means the bike gets to get all its bit up to temperature before I turn it off :P.

I only had half a bottle of red later though!

To keep it in the running as mine isn't used as regularly as I would like. :)

Yes, it was awful and very greasy but the traffic was sparse which helped me ride like a grandad without bothering anyone. :D

I'll take mine out if it's not raining, and the roads are not covered in crap. I'm not riding in **** weather any more.

Turned mine on. Left it running a short time. Turned it off. Went inside :D

Whilst sorting the undead kwak I did this a lot, and it ended up fouling the plugs quite badly. Of course a few visits to 14k RPM whilst under load sorted it, but it did throw me off at first, spent ages chasing ghost issues.

I was only checking the battery on it. I need to move it from the dog kennel to the actual garage tomorrow night. I have five trees coming down later in the week and I'd rather move it out of disaster range. It's a slight uphill push so I'd prefer to ride it in there instead.

Take it for a little blat, be rude not to. Charge the battery a bit and keep the tyres round. I'll probably get the banger out this weekend for that exact purpose too.

MOT'd the S1000RR. It's now fully legal for its next ride in 365 days time to the MOT

The (new 6 months ago) battery had **** itself, luckily no damage to the battery tray, so I had to jump start it to ride to the MOT and they jump started it for me so I could ride home. So I went down the whole LiFePO4+, parasitic drain, storage voltage rabbit hole and ended up with a laughably lightweight battery and configurable charger. Will be interested to see how it fares.

Ah, I like the idea of wrapping.
Im kind of considering it on the Trike, but I need to also do a lot of other things to it before that.
Right now, I am trying to source replacement brake pads but the only ones that I think they are from, are FORD TAURUS 1995-1999 model but I am not 100% sure.
The pads are probably going to be ok, but the spring set up seems to have failed and they have worn weirdly, so not entirely sure?
MOT was DEC 5 and its still in bits.

My Moto Guzzi I have srtripped down a bit, because the other week, I jetwashed it and loads of the paint has been ripped off, on the bodywork, and the engine, so its looking awful and so thats done me in. I am also not just taking my tiome to get at the bits that need re-painting, but I am also considering putting strip lights all arounf her, but then quickly realised that I take the micket out of a mate who has done his R1 and it looks great on his R1 but I dont think it will look too good on my 95 Califonirnia.

Another mates bike is playing up yet again and so I have let him take my Magna instead.

I have given that a mini-service just today so I am happy that its a good un for him, and so he better be good with it.

Lastly, I have finished off servicing my car. Got one warning light telling me a bulb is out but the ONLY thing that isnot working is the one in the sun screen on the driver side... I replaced the buld but its still showing up on the dashboard, so I recon its a sensor then?

So, bneen busy the last few days, but today been silly busy/
