Office Chair vs. Gaming Chair

I'd normally avoid a "gaming" chair but I bought an arozzi vernazza chair this week for what seemed a fair price.

I've been really quite impressed with it. It's very comfortable and for the money the quality seems decent.

I've had the Noblechair Hero ST that was on offer for a month now and I'm regretting the purchase.
It is one of the uncomfiest chairs I've sat on and I'm having to use a proper orthopaedic cushion and a nice pillow behind me. The separate Noblechair pillow behind my head is good.
If I lean on the right arm it starts to bend over so I have to be very careful to only use it for resting and not lifting myself up.
The good point is that it does seem rather solid than other chairs I've had.

I've just been asked where I got my chair from and what model it is, did a quick search and found this above.
I think I picked it up Boxing Day 2020 and then wrote that above in Jan 21.
Just to say I live in this chair and still sit on the orthopaedic cushion.
My body/bum obviously got used to it and it's going to last a long time.

Having had high end office chairs over the years for my office job. I briefly had a gaming chair at home, but seriously, false economy, don’t waste your money.

I had a Humanscale freedom with headrest for years, built like the proverbial tank. Highly recommended, try and grab a second hand one, after all, they’re usually just office clear outs.

I now I have HAG SoFi mesh with arms and headrest, it is a cut above tbh with the ultra adjustable arms and seat and, again, the build quality will last a life time, even with my fat a**. I like so much I bought one to work from home.

FYI, my company chose the HAG having had employees test out various high range chairs over a period of time. We could then choose between material or mesh, 80% chose the mesh, like myself, just feels more supportive. Bit pricey, but If you can afford…
