Star Trek : Starfeet Academy (Paramount+)

I hate this program so much. It's woke nonsense. It's the least ST out of them all. I'd rather than 10 seasons of Discovery.

I actually made it through most of Season 1 of Discovery!

Academy however...... This should've been a show for kids, atleast then it would've been some what acceptable.

Part watched a couple more, mainly because my missus proclaimed there was going to be some meaningful deep dive into DS9 history.

What a load of utter. complete, juvenile drivel.
 
I like how the image of Sisko was darkened down so much you couldnt see his face, apparently he didn't give them permission to use his likeness. Looks utterly stupid in the episode having it the way it appeared.

If only that was the shows only issue....besides being utter ********.

Just increase beightness setting like you did when okay star trek 25th anniversary game, fighting against cloaked romulan ships

I think I got as far as the prison, whichever season that was. The main guy loosing the plot and talking to his dead wife on the phone, then the only character I found remotely likeable dying finished it off for me. How people that already didn't like it managed to continue on for god knows how many more seasons it ran for is beyond me.

Same with STD and Picard, quit both of those early on too, although I was convinced to give Picard season 3 a shot and don't regret it.
 
Good ep. today! Tactical mission with some actual threat. Nus, the meh baddy in the first ep, shows up… and is a surprisingly fiendish ass.

Really liked the design of the Furies.
 
again i like it, still not a classic but it will do, could have done with the first 5-10 mins cut down a bit, but liked the story once we got into it
 
Wow, so they somehow managed to get award winning actors to appear in this show and at the same time make them look complete fools. My kidney failure less traumatic this this rubbish.
 
I went into this expecting carnage and cringe. I found some, but it wasn't as bad as the reviews and comments suggested. The DS9 episode had it's moments.. as a DS9 fan.

Don't think it'll get many seasons.
