I'm sorry but I can't understand people's obsession with chargers. What are you charging with them?
I think it's a side effect of everything becoming USB-C. Wind back 20 years, and everything had its own proprietary charger. Now, you can buy one big charger and charge everything from it. For example, I just came back from a cycling trip and on returning from a days riding, I would generally have on the one charger -
  • Cycle computer
  • Rear radar/camera/light
  • Shokz Headphones
  • Pixel Watch*
  • Phone
  • Laptop*
  • GoPro batteries
Granted, the watch and laptop will have been charging while out, so would probably come off charge while the stuff I had out for the day went on.

The most used "USB charger" I use at home is the front USB 2 port I have in the front of my AV receiver, I charge almost everything on it. My AirPods, AA batteries, my phone, my Steam Deck even (but it will take overnight). I cba to go plug in another thing in the socket.

One of the most niche things I've seen a bloke collect for sure.

My son started collecting the F1 stuff and designing & printing the pictures himself, and the cabinet is in his room. I've been into F1 since 1985 so naturally take an interest in this too.

There are people with whole rooms converted to just display this type of stuff. The limiting factor for us is the cost - each larger helmet costs £200, the mini helmets £55, 1/18 cars £200 and the 1/43 cars £75 to £110 each.
Our small Lando and Norris collection is about £7k's worth but a lot of people have hundreds of thousands invested into this.

I bought a shotgun MTB tow rope - to tow my son up the climbs when he wants to ride his DH MTB, leaving his eMTB at home, and there are no uplifts available.
One end loops around his headset/handle bar and the other around my saddle - tow away :) Rated up to 225kg. At the top it can be very quickly looped and clipped around my waist, for the ride down, and repeat. More laps = more riding fun :)

Well I’ve got three cables permanently plugged into the USB-C ports on my Anker charger, for the things I charge the most. The Apple Watch, the iPads and my Samsung phone. It will also charge my Samsung Buds Pro 3 which don’t need charging that often.

I’ve got my iPhone 14 plugged into my old Apple 20W charger as it has a lightning connector which nothing else has. So I’ve pretty much got a cable and charger for every device ready from the get go.
