on the old phone or new one, anything I need to do prior to booting up?I used Mi Mover. That made it very easy to transfer stuff over from the previous device.
I wasn't all that certain about what I was doing, so I followed this after a quick Google:on the old phone or new one, anything I need to do prior to booting up?
ah well always tomorrow I guessFlossy recommends the Leica version but where can you get this in the UK
OuchI swear if they try and deliver again between 2 and 3pm I am gonna scream. School pick up duties for me today (I live alone)damnit, went out to the back garden to chat to gardener and missed the deliveryah well always tomorrow I guess
I really wanted the Leica version, until I remembered that I sometimes work in a dusty environment, glad I saw sense and bought the standard Ultra instead!Average Dad has the Global Version. Looks to be £200 plus cheaper than Official Xiaomi UK store (which is out of stock). Although Xiaomi UK do have a £200 trade in boost (which I used for my 17 Ultra, and was seamless), Official store also offers 24 month warranty, and 6 month free screen replacement if ordered by end of month.
Edit: The camera is really stunning on the 17 Ultra, each time it amazes me how good pictures look. I'm not sure how useful the extra Leica features are for me, and I did watch a video of a Dad playing with his Son at the beach, and the camera focus ring went crunchy with all the grit in the mechanismOuch

so did you get the delivery?I swear if they try and deliver again between 2 and 3pm I am gonna scream. School pick up duties for me today (I live alone)

I did, was close though.so did you get the delivery?![]()
don't drop it!Going out out tomorrow in London for a rave
Be here in 2hrs ! Then comes the fun of migrating apps and trying to remember passwords etc
It makes things so much easier.a lot of them do but things like banking apps etc, also lots now have to do video to identify etc. Anyway mostly done nowDon't you use the Google password manager? It makes things so much easier.
In my 30+ years of raving I've never once lost or broken a phone. My mind, several times haha but only time I've smashed one is trying to take a shoe off and I'd put phone in a shallow pocket and it slipped out on to concrete. 1 cracked phone in all those years is good going.don't drop it!
