So I've decided to stream for a bit of fun, and have a lot of the equipment on order (1080p monitor, mic, camera etc).
I've tested the waters with one monitor to see how performance holds up and think there's a little hit, but I'm still able to play well I'm pretty sure.
Watching a recent LTT...
How's everyone setting up their fans?
The software update changed it to a curve instead of a target, but with it set to Auto tried Apex last night and the thing was mad loud with temps hitting around 80c after a while.
I need to do some tweaking as haven't touched it since end of Nov/beginning...
I did see that version but wasn't sure on the thickness, favoured the thinner version.
Anyways I missed your £11.99 offer  for some reason didn't get email notification about your reply!
But just ordered it at 15 quid anyway as still a good price for that kind of size.
Will this mat be coming back in stock at all?
My basket at Overclockers UK: 1 x Glorious PC Gaming Race G-XL Extra Large Pro Gaming Surface - Black= £10.99 Total: £15.65 (includes shipping: £4.66)
I can't fit a XXL with my current desk set up (I actually have a near new OcUK XXL still...
That all makes sense. My simple mind and I naively assumed "nEwEr Is BeTtEr" :p, but then I did go for budget down the Ryzen last gen route
I have been trying this. There's no cap setting in-game, and using freesync doesnt seem to cap frames at 144fps in any game including this one.
Radeon...
I see, so newer hardware doesn't necessarily mean an easier time running older titles? I don't mind it sitting at 100% providing it won't cause any harm.
As for the crashing I suppose if it's a persistent problem I may have to give the first game a miss.
So I recently built a Ryzen 7 1700X + Vega 64 system. Stupidly I can't get off Fortnite which is making the whole thing a borderline waste
Anyways The Witcher 3 really appeals to me, as I like those kind of fantasy open-world RPGs, but figured it best to play 1 & 2 first with them...
Built a new 1700x + Vega 64 system and I just can't keep off of bloody Fortnite!
I'm enjoying the game as it is addictive, but there's so much to it that you have to be consistent, and play at least every-other day (every day is better) to keep the rhythm.
I do feel like it's a bit...
Where is this chill setting? I've heard it mentioned around but can't seem to find it in my Radeon software?
Also tried these Wattman settings (his 1595/1100 result):

And it crashed about a...
So have had my 64 installed in my brand new build since beginning with this week, and so far impressed overall.
I followed the WM settings @Panos has posted and like the higher clock under load, working great in the original Tomb Raider I've been playing.
Can anyone guide me on how to set up my...
Love the look of the white set from Bitfenix, might have
As these are extensions rather than entire replacement cables, do you just leave the cable coming out of the PSU tucked in the back/bottom somewhere out of sight, and then only run the extension to where you need to?
If so have you...
Oh thanks for that, I totally would have been one of those people  haha
Looking on the Seasonic site they only supply it with 2x cables which both have the 2 connectors - that would drive my computer OCD mad having the 2nd unused plug on each cable!
Will have to invest in some extra...
@pastymuncher thanks for the advice, I just went the full hog and grabbed a 850w. Figured for the sake of £20 which I've more than saved on a couple of the recent offers it won't hurt.
I'll definitely check out the owners thread as well to see what else I can get out of it, cheers
So with the AMD deals on, I picked up a Vega 64 which has spurred on a new build
Sapphire’s website recommends a massive 850W power supply to run this thing tho!
I’m sure that’s overkill and had the Seasonic Focus Plus 80+ Gold 650W in mind. Can anyone with more knowledge confirm if this would...
The guy is trying his luck a bit with the compo, but he has a point, something will have to be done eventually
I’ve never had issues like this flying but my auntie was sat next to a huge woman for a flight to LA, her arms were literally coming over the arm rest into what would be her paid-for...
My thoughts are with the millions+ of hits they must get every day, surely a couple little, unobtrusive ads would more than cover their needs?
