Thanks for the advice, I won't be overclocking until I get my new cooler. I did have a corsair hydro H80i for the i5 3570k but I sold this with my old components. I will try the stock cooler and see how it goes hopefully it does the job until I can get a new cooler in a month :)

I have just received my i5 9600KF but I don't have a cooler for it yet will the stock cooler from my old i5 3570k do for an month until I can get a new cooler? The 3570k has a TDP of 77 and the 9600KF is 95 so its maybe too much of an ask of the stock 3570k cooler?
