I had an issue with audio pops and crackles after the update (65 G2). I had to change the audio settings on my firestick from Auto to PCM to get it to stop.
Get your vitamin D levels checked, or start supplementing.
I've been going through exactly the same for the last few years. I wouldn't say I was considering suicide but I was definitely thinking that I don't want to be here anymore. I was reluctant to go to the doctors as they'll automatically...
So I finally got round to using my TV properly after 5 weeks of having it.
I watched Blade Runner 2049 and Avatar (first one) and was genuinely blown away by how good it looks.
I've seen Avatar a few times but it was like watching a whole new movie.
I was really annoyed at having to return 2...
The G2 arrived mid week and I got it mounted on the wall today. I genuinely didn't expect to see that much of a difference between the Hisense U7K and this but wow, the difference is incredible.
The next job is to run the cables behind the wall. Can anyone recommend some 2 or 3 metre HDMI 2.1...
Well I've got to say I've found dry January an absolute doddle, and I'm continuing into February. This is the first time in all attempts I've made the entire month.
I think I can put it down to a number of reasons...
1. Falling over and hitting my head over Xmas was definitely a bit of a wake...
Hi all,
I'm after a 4TB NVMe SSD for my laptop. It'll be used for storing personal photos and videos, plus 4K movies that'll be streamed to my TV.
I'd like to keep costs to a minimum if possible.
What would you buy?
Many thanks
Nope, not sure at all :D .
I mainly play Xbox on the TV, with the occasional film. After a very brief read up it seems the LG is still the better choice for the Xbox but I'll certainly do some more digging. Thanks for pointing it out.
Having returned 2 Hisense U7K TV's to Currys due to screen issues I've finally bitten the bullet and ordered an LG 65" G2 from RicherSounds. It's currently on offer for £1399 (ends tomorrow).
The U7K is a brilliantly capable TV but the banding is so bad. The first TV had a 4" dark band from top...
I've just upgraded my family package to YouTube Premium, I was already paying £16.99 and me and my son watch it a fair bit. An extra £3 for no adverts seems reasonable considering how many there are.
Well 8 days into Dry January and going strong. I attended a Christening yesterday and everyone was drinking. I had 3 bottles of alcohol free lager and it didn't phase me.
I have some personal stuff going on which is affecting the mental health so that's giving me a good reason to stay off the...
I'm 39. Drinking doesn't give me anxiety, it's just the next day. It's not as if it's every time either, I can have 5-6 pints and be absolutely fine the next day, it's the excessive drinking that does me. Some might say 6 pints is excessive.
I do dry January every year but I'm going to try until the end of March to give my body a nice long break from it.
I've posted in here before and it's very difficult for me to quit completely, it's all my group of friends and family do.
I do enjoy having a drink, I just think I overdo it, once...
