Hi all, I'm currently using a 1080ti and a 1440p gsync monitor, but I'm not gaming as much now and wont be in the near future as work and 2 year old plus 1 on the way. The question is has any of you guys dropped to 1080p and say a used rx580 and are finding it ok coming from a 1080ti and 1440p?

It seems the acrylic inserts that glue to the pipe crack over time causing leaks. Was hoping someone has been using these fittings with experience really. I could just be reading reviews of idiots not following instructions.

The waterblock turned up so no more hairdryer! The card boosts to 1911 on its own and ive now got it at 2075. I tried 2100 but it locks up.

I run mine at speed 1. I run 2 480mm rads and it goes through the cpu, gpu, res. Ive tried all speeds and there was no difference for me other than pump noise.

Just a quick update, Ive finally solved the heat issue. I delidded again but this time I didnt seal the cpu back up, Im just using the motherboards clamp to hold it in place. Anyway the sealant must have been lifting the cpus heat spreader thing from the die slightly. Im now getting max temps in...

I had a corsair m65 and i hated it. I gave me bad hand ache as it was to small for me. Im now using the razer deathadder chroma and i love it.

I'm ordering some more f12s over the weekend. Then drop it to 4.5 and a quite fan profile then start enjoying the pc.

think ill back it off to 4.5 for lower temps. but then again i only use the pc for 4 or 5 hours a week gaming and then its switched of the rest.

Well i delidded the cpu and the temps are pretty much the same. Only 2 cores dropped by 5ish degrees. Guess ill just live with a hot cpu and a overkill water loop.

Think your right about the wing boost 2. They were used in another build as air flow fans so I had them spare. I've got 2 noctua f12s sat doing nothing so I'll be picking more of these up soon. Anyway tonight I'll be delidding the 6700k as I've got everything I need from a previous delidded.

The fans I'm using are alpenfohn wing boost 2 but I'll be replacing these soon . I was using noctua f12 on the air so I might go back to them or phanteks. I'm tempted to delid my 6700k also. I had good results delidding a 4670k I had before this.
