what is the time out settings, and does the PIN ever fail and lock you out ? Do you find any downsides ?

yes I have a desktop, with a DVD/CD in it. But I would buy a device to do it independently. These are home made DVD,s with no copyright or "blocking" are on them. I tried using VLC but its a long winded process and the sound is missing.

Thanks, I use a USB hub, but using the actual ports make no difference, I've just put it down to needing more RAM. Maybe this is wrong. I'd like to find why I got these cut outs in power though, maybe it's only been dust.
