Degree Apprenticeship (Digital Technology Solutions Bsc) or University (Computer Science Bsc)

The roles I worked with them were in technical pre sales, so they were technical specialists on particular products we made/sold, so understood how they worked, what they did, what the value it gave was, rather than a development type role. As for how they compared to the grads, they weren't...

Degree Apprenticeship (Digital Technology Solutions Bsc) or University (Computer Science Bsc)

My view, after working somewhere that ran a popular degree apprenticeship program (who coincidently used Exeter uni, and for the same degree the OP mentions), is I’d go down that route nowadays. After the degree apprenticeship period is up, you’ll have a degree with zero debt and 4 years...

    Massive Car insurance costs?

£28 increase on my renewal on an RS3. I’ll have a look around but given the current madness that doesn’t seem so bad.

New rears fitted, probably placebo but does feel nicer. Fronts probably get done later in the year.

Meh they wouldn't be mismatched long, and running different axles not exactly going to cause any issues. But would be annoying to see

Ordered the Michelins this morning to be fitted Thursday, they didn't have the Contis in stock in my size so saved the dilemma!

Looking at when I've had things changed, first set of MPS4S fronts lasted about 20k, second set of fronts have been on for 10k and have 4.5mm left. Rears were put on 25k ago and are down to 2.5mm, so not bad going.

    Show Us Your Motors!

I loved my first S2000 (02 plate pre facelift), did 500 odd miles a week in it and it was great. Bought an 04 plate facelift a few years after I’d sold the old one and never really gelled with it :( Sold it a year later for what I paid for it, and only used about a tank of fuel that whole...

    Groundhog Day

I watched this film for the first time the night before last, and I have been thinking it over and over since. What a spectacular film, I feel ashamed to have only seen it for the first time so recently. It really touched me in a very soft place, and I felt great come the end of the movie. :p...

Need to get some new boots for the RS3 this week, rears for now, fronts still have 4.5mm left so they’ll be done later. Currently have MPS4S all around and they’ve been good and do seem to last well. Dilemma is do I stick with the Michelins, or try the Contisport 7s which are getting good reviews?

Yup, I don't rely on the TV inbuilt stuff as at some point it'll go out of date, stop getting updates etc. I use them when I can, else an external device steps in and fills any gaps.

    IT Pre-Sales

Been doing pre sales at vendors for just over 10 years now, absolutely love it and wish I’d known what it was like sooner so I’d have started down that path earlier. I prefer vendor pre sales, main focus on particular products/solutions, but you still obviously need knowledge beyond that to...

The SFF Case Gallery And Specs Thread

Anyone tried the new NCase M1 Evo thing yet? I’ve been running a v5 M1 since 2017 and love its dinky size, wondering whether the newer model was worth a go for a new build or just keep this one.
