    Show Us Your Motors!

I've heard, everyone's got an opinion on the 'correct' springs to go for too. Luckily we've got quite a big group of QV drivers in the SE, all with differing mods, so it's nice to be able to window shop! :D

    Show Us Your Motors!

Go on then, I'll join in the Alfa fun.. My MY22 Etna Red beauty :D Picked it up last October, just in time for winter. I've got a Fiammenghi Double H Pipe centre section exhaust on the way then need to look at dropping it ever so slightly and maybe some ~10mm spacers.

    5900X: AIO or...?

Hi all, I'm looking at getting a 5900X, and it will (hopefully) eventually be in a be quiet Silent Base 601, but I'm wondering about whether a 5900X works best with an AIO like a NZXT Kraken or whether one of be quiet's air cooler heatsink/fan type affairs would be sufficient. It's going to...

Well, the consensus seems, unfortunately, to be to wait. Darnit. Thanks everyone!

Time for a BFGaming (and other stuff) rig

Afternoon all, I've had my current build for around 7 years, an i7 4770k, 32GB RAM, RTX2060 etc., which I'm going to keep and shoehorn into a smaller case that its current CM Storm Trooper (be quiet PB 500). I'll mostly be using the new rig for P3D v5, with a whole bunch of addon sceneries...

    New MoBo / CPU

Thanks for the tip! I’m not in any particular rush, so waiting may be the best option.

    New MoBo / CPU

Main reason for Intel is that I’ve always had Intel! :D and 64GB RAM is mainly due to running a lot of VMs - I’m not sure if running VMs makes any difference to the Intel/AMD debate?

    780TI Windforce has died

Just as a question; there doesn't seem to be much in it between the 1660Ti and the RTX 2060- Given the rest of my rig is pretty old, would I really see any benefit from RTX- or would I better off just running the 2060 with RTX off and see some gains over the 1660Ti?

    780TI Windforce has died

Thanks guys, I'll give those two a look. 1660Ti doesn't look too shabby for the price.

    780TI Windforce has died

Thanks for the advice - I'm currently using an Asus G-Sync display - would switching to AMD cause any issues there?

    780TI Windforce has died

Today my Gigabyte GeForce 780Ti OC Windforce finally died- well, I say finally. I mean suddenly. Very suddenly. I've tried DDU and reinstalling drivers etc but nothing has worked so far. Outside of that I imagine I'm going to be looking for a new card. So.. Can anybody give me any advice on...

    DDR3 Upgrade Advice

Good morning OC! I have a question regarding upgrading the RAM in my system, and due to not looking at anything component wise since I built it in 2014 I'm a bit behind the curve.. I currently have an MSI Z87-GD65 with an i7 4770K and 8Gb (in 2x 4Gb) of TeamGroup Xtreem LV DDR3 PC3-19200C10...

Smaller would be better, but I would like to still fit the H105 in.

    Case recommendations

I've got a Coolermaster Cosmos at the moment, I wouldn't mind something similar. Would it all fit into the CM Storm Trooper case? My cosmos doesn't have IO connectors which seem to fit the Z87-GD65- is this purely an age thing? Price wise... up to £150? Maybe £200 at a push.
