I sold mine in January after being interleaved for what must have been a year. Replaced it with a simple Tp-Link Archer VR2600 as I had no need for Dect phones, voicemail etc. One month on interleaving was removed so I can only presume the Fritz was to blame.

I have to hand it to some of you guys for having patience, but if they can't stabalise it in the time they have had so far then there's little doubt they will as it will be coming to the end of it's marketable life soon as new products are released.

I know of no other 'mainstream' OEM using the Mediatek xDSL chipset in a CPE product other than Asus. Maybe this is due to contractual agreements already in place but it kind of makes you wonder why. It's either a poorly implemented xDSL chipset or difficult to support via the firmware, either...
They know it's problematic, they have repeatedly tried to fix it. The regulars on here including me have submitted countless error reports, logs. You only have to read previous posts on what is now a huge thread of rants, confusion and general despair.
I think I can speak for everyone that had one and moved on, good luck with that they have had a year now to fix it with lord knows how many firmware updates.
It's not CRC errors you need to worry about, it's ES and SES both of which are not easily attainable on the ASUS. I mentioned this to ASUS numerous times whilst I had the device in question.
