Most respectable brand PSU's are designed to run for thousands of hours, so in reality your PSU is probably fine and will go on for years to come.
However with the cost of PSU's being so low these days compared to 7 years ago when you bought it I would probably just upgrade it on the side of...
3dmark / pcmark. Run the bench tests see if you are getting in region of what you should be for the spec.
Run something like bench32 to make sure the two drives are performing as they should etc.
Other than that, enjoy it.

I have a Razer destructor from years ago that still comes up good as new with a wipe. It does have shiny areas in the middle from use but doesn't seem to affect the mouse.
You can replace the SSD inside, but it's expensive compared to the prices of a "normal" 2.5" SSD.

I wouldn't be too disheartened, even people taking the VCP6.5 exam now will still end up being a VCP6 so you aren't any worse off.
I'm a VCP5 but did the DCV550 exam which was actually more questions and less time than the vanilla 5 exam IIRC.
The only thing I'd say is generally speaking the K revision of processors tend to hold their value more due to the overclocking potential.
So in a few years time that £20 difference now might be worthwhile when you come to sell it on.
