Getting 2 different sets to work together

Thanks a lot for your response. I've managed to have success and a noticeable improvement by turning XMP on and increasing the tRFC to 314 and the dram voltage to 1.6. The ram itself is specified 1866mhz 9-10-9 28 at 1.5v. I did try to change the voltage though to 1.55v and had a BSOD within 10...

So what are your cards clocking out of the box without overclocking or switching fan profile? Mine gives me a minimum 1950MHz - MSI Gaming X Trio.

Getting 2 different sets to work together

I realise that this is not recommended. I already have these sets though so what I am wondering is the best way to make them compatible in xmp. Both sets are the exact same model of RAM with one set being purchased roughly 2 years later. I've managed to get the system stable with XMP off, but...

The Turing RTX 2080 Owners Thread

Personal preference. I find Windows 7 Ultimate x64 to be the best OS. Windows 8 wasn't a selling point and Windows 10 is competitive, but just not for me. I might set up a dual boot partition for comparison. Before doing so though I'd like anyone else's feedback if they are experiencing this as...

The Turing RTX 2080 Owners Thread

Is anyone else using Windows 7 with this card? I am noticing that I am getting lower FPS than benchmark reviews of the card in quite a few games. Also, I am often noticing the card not making full use of the GPU. i.e. GPU Usage at 50-70% instead of 99-100%.

Just played some PUBG on Ultra settings in 1440p 165hz w/ GSYNC. Game was crisp with FPS averaging 120. It fluctuated quite a bit though.

AORUS GEFORCE GTX 1080TI vs Nvidia FE 2080

The aorus is a solid choice and imo is the best 1080 Ti card to get (only second to the xtreme model of it). With that said I am going with the 2080 over 1080 Ti just because new tech vs old tech? I would prefer to have DLSS. If you can manage to justify that extra spend get the RTX. If cost is...

** GEFORCE RTX 2080 NOW IN STOCK, ORDER FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY!! **

Agreed. So I suppose for any cancelled rebate cards the site keeps the extra money as profit. At the current prices for the available stock I cannot even see why any site would want these products if they weren't expecting to make profit. With that said I also doubt other sites are selling these...

Who's Cancelled Their 2080** Pre Orders

I am still going to get a 2080 strictly because I am in need of a card as my last one stopped working. 1080 Ti might be better value, but the price on it has gone up, or rather not gone down enough. I am still disappointed though and as NVIDIA knows we don't have much of an alternative.

OcUK Nvidia RTX series review thread

Well, I appreciate your opinion, but I don't find that to be accurate. Most reviewer's benchmarks I've noticed have different results, but a vast majority show the 2080 FE (Factory OC) either 1-3 FPS better than a 1080 Ti FE (Not factory OC) just as much as they show that same 1080 Ti out...
