Replaced 3 x Asmedia ASM1166's with 2 x LSI 9207 8i due to the Asmedia driver not supporting spindown even if adding the correct registry key
The LSI's by default also dont spindown but if you add the registry key they spindown fine
Replaced LSI 9207 8i P20 firmware with LSI 9207 4i4e P18...
Win 10
Im replacing the 3 x Asmedia ASM1166's as the asmedia miniport driver doesnt support spindown
so i have a script sending a command to the drives on boot to spin down after 20 mins of idle themselves for now
and the default microsoft driver doesnt like the reset commands the os has to...
Have just finished upgrading the server with mainly old parts
i9 9900k @ 5ghz Stock Voltage + Stock LLC 1.25V Vccsa 1.20V Vccio 45 Ring (47 needs 15mv more with the igp enabled fine with the igp disabled with 0mv)

If only an angled connector existed so you didnt have to bend the cable
here's a mockup i deisgned that should fit the bill
maybe nvidia should use it..
Yeh i know that
But its weird that they either didnt bin for a 3+4 core load at 56+57
or did bin for it and chose not to use them
e.g are the voltage tables present for 56+57 multipliers for all of the cores
and are the voltage tables present for all 8 cores at a 58x multiplier
or only the two...
Doesnt Matter buildzoid was messing in the bios and scrolled past it
I find it odd that its not
P Cores 58,58,57,56,55,55,55,55 or something like that
P Cores 58,58,55,55,55,55,55,55
E Cores 43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43,43
What are the Stocks Multipliers per acive core on 13900K its turning out to be murder to find out
e.g with 12900k it's
1 P Core Active 52
2 P Core Active 51
3 P Core Active 50
4 P Core Active 50
5 P Core Active 49
6 P Core Active 49
7 P Core Active 49
8 P Core Active 49

I doubt its that bad he's running 3600 14-14-14 CR2 Most prob Gear 2 it was Gear 2 for his benchmarks on 12th gen
Properly setup ddr4 still matches or beats 6400 on 12900k in 90% of games cant see why it wouldnt on 13900K
Im Going to run this when my 13900K Comes
Its a deal breaker if you arnt capable of modifying it as the motherboard wont fit
unless you want to warp your motherboard
I am going to have to do a Meshify S2 now also as the 9900KS died 3 days ago
so thats also going 12900K + Z690 Aorus Master
Quite a few Z690 Boards have pushed the socket further to the right
which caused issues with my Fractal Meshify 2
I fixed it with an Angle Grinder + Flap Pad
It would have been neater if my Dremel wasnt siezed its hard work with a huge flap pad
I spoke to fractal and they have been great and...
yes you are right but thats not what was being talked about here
jay goes on about it going over the pl2 limit when he has set it
when in reality it hasnt he just cant do maths
Jay is a plum
he is taking power readings at the wall and hasnt accounted for vrm losses or psu losses or even fans spinning faster due to the load or even the pch not being in an idle state anymore
270w - 8% for psu efficiency - 8% at a guess for vrm efficiency = -43.2W take a few watts off...
i wouldnt say the cooling is that good its average at best
its a tad light in the aluminium department its 1.2kg
i was shocked how light it is in comparison to its size
it feels like a toy compared to my old sapphire vega 64 nitro+ se
its also about 350-400g lighter than the powercolor
Your better off getting the cheapest ram you can get hold of this is the 2133 of DDR4 ram
any small overclock Corsair have managed to get you can do yourself
then pickup some Crucial Ballistix 8400 in a year
but you have to go with an oem that isnt binning atm
like Crucial for example
No way...
