Yeah that’s weird. The only issue I’ve seen is sometimes with Ray Tracing enabled the game gets way too dark, nearly all black except right at light sources, and I have to restart for it to go back to normal. That’s happebed few times.

Where are you seeing that? Anything I have seen with better cooling is a three slot design. I know the press likes to rip on Nvidia but my 2080 FE stays under 60 at load when going balls out with the fans, and stays at 75C with fans around 45%. It's pretty damn quiet at that level. Bench...

Its because Nvidia upstaged every design team out there in both looks and performance. The cooler is amazing and sexy as hell. The only way they can try to get an edge over Nvidia is three slot designs with all kinds of flair.

The clock goes down as the temp goes up. From what I've seen the clock will begin dropping once you hit 60C.

Great choice! If you check the bench threads around here the only card that beats the 2080 is Kaapstads Titan V.
