AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3D Cache Eight Core 4.5GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail - Go Go Go xD

Have a 6950XT at the minute. Would be nice to switch from my 9900K to the 5800X3D but unless I sold my current CPU + MOBO combo I can't really justify it. I bet there'd be a noticeable jump in performance though. Ah well, waiting for Zen 4 it is.

Really wish I could change to a 5800X3D, I just can't justify the cost when I currently have a perfectly fine 9900K. Unless I could sell the CPU + MOBO, that is. Maybe if a 6800X3D is in the works I'll grab one to go with my 6950XT

Like Matt said, 6950 XT is a level above a 3090 and cheaper to boot. Stock clocks out of the box are 2639 core and 2248 VRAM. Currently running 2771 Core and 2360 Mem with a 5% undervolt and power limit reduced to 95%. Custom fan curve for temps because the stock curve is absolute tosh.

Will you Buy a Next Gen Graphics Card or a Present Gen Card?

Assuming that the 4000 & 7000 series will have stock and won't be a repeat of the current gen launch. Otherwise 3000/6000 prices might go back up as people realise they can't get a 4000/7000, as happened with 2000 series prices when 3000 launched. Had I wanted to I could've got close to original...

Will you Buy a Next Gen Graphics Card or a Present Gen Card?

Bought a 6950XT. No way I'm waiting and hoping that the same stock fiasco that plagued current gen won't happen again with RTX 4000 and RX 7000. Not when you consider that the semi-conductor shortage is still going until probably Q4 2023, meanwhile new CPUs from Intel & AMD, new GPUs from NVidia...
