Definitely the clamp/gasket leaking between the turbo and dpf, took a look this morning and lots of soot deposits on it and the heat shield behind it. One for the garage to sort I think.

Sorry to drag this thread up from the past, but did you find a fix ? Exact issue on my 2012 Golf 1.6TDI, have read it could be the gasket and clamp between the Turbo and dpf that seems to fail.

Yeah just emails, shared drives and Skype calls, more than than enough. Our fibre line is only 40mbps, so I'm pretty sure that's the limiting factor rather than the WiFi kit

I'm more than happy, i wasn't expecting it to work at all without attaching something to the outside of the house. Like I say, its working just as well as the WiFi devices inside the house.
