The 3080 and 3080ti are different wafers I think. One should not really effect the other. I would have thought you are OK with the extreme anyway. It will be the Eagle that goes if any. I think the main issue MSI and all the AIB's have is the quality of the silicon. They are getting very high...

I think a lot of lower end SKU's will go. From all reports the quality of the wafers being produced are unusually high. These will always go for the high end, higher profit SKU's.

OC is not as big a company as everyone assumes.

I haven't had one this week. ScottiB said last Thursday the person that deals with the emails was away for a week. I think what you see in the update thread is pretty much it + maybe a few cancellations. Cards are hard to find atm.

It never worked like that when I used to work for what was one of the UK's largest parts distributers but we are going back a quite a few years (we are talking back in OC's Esnet days). OC will not have any allocated stock as such. They will order however many their suppliers have in stock...

OC will probably offer us that. Hey it could be worse. You could have paid for a 3090 and now due to receive a 3080ti. If it goes the way Samsung handles things the USA will get all the legit 3090's and the rest of the world will get the 3080ti variant.
