Yes you’ll need to press Win-Y as well..
if you’re system is similar to mine I can screenshot my settings…? I’m getting 60fps solid in built up areas….
pm me a WhatsApp contact number and I’ll screenshot it for you
ALT-TAB into Steam VR (The small black window)... Click on the three lines top left which should drop down a menu... then click on "Reset seated position", about the third option down. Make sure you are facing the screen straight when you do it.
You should be good to go!
That’s one I took the other week using OBS. About half way through it seems the generate a frame stutter every 3-4 seconds but that wasn’t visible in the headset. It could be the difficulty of trying to capture stereoscopic VR on a flat screen.
on a positive note the VR using my Reverb G2 is...
My system is fantastic tbh…really pleased with it. The bit that has blown me away is the Reverb G2. Until the new AMD BIOS comes through next month I’ve had to downgrade the PCIe to Gen3 but it’s working okay currently. VR with DCS is incredible but thank the lord I got a decent GPU… The...
Strewth. The scalper prices on RTX 3080 cards are ridiculous…
Looks like my decision in January to bite the bullet and pay over the odds (at the time anyway) of £1050 for an MSI Gaming X Trio 3080 was a good call….
I’m running a Ryzen 9 5900x and an RTX 3080… I had a long play with various settings, and suggested setups from the VR4DCS website yesterday AMD now have it running smoothly with about 50fps in full res on the headset.
I’ve set the motherboard to Gen3 on all PCIe channels for the moment, and...
I know but it was purchased and built by then! To be fair, when they get this sorted, I’d still rather have the AMD setup as it appears to be much quicker. I gather from Reddit that AMD have a working solution on their reference boards.. they just need to push it out now.
Having a nightmare getting my brand new G2 to connect to my AMD motherboard. There’s an outstanding USB bug which means it’s almost impossible to get the sodding thing to connect.
I’ve managed to get it running about three times this afternoon and when it does the graphical acuity and clarity...
Too late….
In for about $400 so far…. DCS is running at around 90-100fps at High settings and 5120x1440 resolution. MSFS2020 is running at the same res at around the 60-80fps in Ultra settings.
On the upside I am loving learning to fly and fight the F/A-18C and looking forward to...
So a few weeks on and I am delighted with the system...
Running DCS with everything set at high, at 5120x1440 resolution it is throwing out a solid 60 frames a second.
MS Flight Sim 2020, on ULTRA settings at 5120 x 1440 it shows around 40 fps at the moment.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor is...
Hi folks. Please excuse what is probably (To you guys anyway) a fairly basic question..
I’ve just built a decent system on an ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII Wi-fi motherboard. It’s all in a Fractal Design Meshify S2 case.
The case came with 3 case fans (Non RGB) and a fan controller fitted on...
So the final spec (And amazingly I've got it all bought and shipped..just need to build it now) is:
ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi Motherboard
Ryzen 9 5900X
MSI GeForce Gaming X Trio RTX 3080 GPU
Corsair HXi Platinum 850W PSU
32Gb HyperX Fury 3200 RAM
Cooler Master Masterliquid ML360R CPU...
