If memory does not mislead me AMD are usually boosting the hype when they have something in their sleeve but seem way too quiet at the moment at least to me. Hope they will manage to get the 3D cache processors for next year as Intel seems to be on the rise especially with the recent Raptor Lake...
So we have improved cpu but no fast DDR5 memory available at the moment. And Windows 10 does not seem optimized enough for big little cores. Seems like Raptor Lake will be the real deal and current generation is just a bridge to the future.
If I remember it correctly CPU overclocking on 9th series Intel impedes overclocking of memory. Also if memory serves correct achieving such speeds on 32 GB may add to the challenge.
Well someone managed to employ AMD to mine coins again so to me that is the reason why the prices don't fall. The question as always is whether to wait more or jump straight in to current offers? Perhaps this is the first decision before choosing a brand/platform.
I am a bit cautios about changes in SSD after release and first reviews especially when they have higher category product where they could implement improvements.
In my humble opinion editing memory timings requires more knowledge than I probably have so the best option for me is to replace the memory with one with better timings but from my personal experience with swapping DDR3 sticks I doubt that will make much difference on laptop.
CPU: Ryzen 9500x - you've got CPU from the future there :) .
If it is 5900X and if you could sacrifice RGB I would go with Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-35200C19 4400MHz Dual Channel Kit as these are rumoured to be Samsung B-die and are supposed to achieve good timings at 3800 which is...
