I take it freesync was detected then? The update won't detect mine at all, same monitor as you.

Got an issue with these automatic updated drivers (15.20.1062.1004). They just refuse to detect freesync. I have the BenQXL2730Z and a R9 290. As soon as I roll back to 15.7.1 freesync is detected fine. Anyone else had this?

Oh my no. I'm running a older core I7 920 @ 3.8Ghz and have never seen a reason to upgrade.

Just ran the windmill freesync demo and can honestly say, AMA High is the best setting, the difference between Off and High is incredible. Premium gives an overshoot kind of ghost on the wing blade but u really have to look for it. I'm on V2 firmware btw. Should really get some pics but my...

Yay, just got mine back, so far all looks great, about to test on GTA5 and Skyrim. I've checked the service menu and i'm on the new firmware V002. Didn't write down my previous settings though so got some calibration to do. :D

Just had a text from repairtech saying my monitor will be delivered back to me tomorrow by DPD. So turn around will have been 7 working days. :D

The driver won't tell you, you need to get that information from the service menu as already described earlier in this thread.

Might be your display port cable, they can be weird. Also if you are running crossfire, that doesn't work with freesync yet, AMD a bit behind with the drivers. If you are running just 1 card try enabling then disabling blur reduction and see if CCC detects freesync.

It took me 2 phone calls to DPD to get mine collected. The first was useless, the guy on the other end of the phone just told me "I don't have access to any information regarding your collection" to which I said "ok, you are useless, I will call back later", to which I did and spoke to another...

Get the latest AMD drivers 15.5 beta, then only use a display port cable, freesync will be detected. Freesync is not compatible with blur reduction and will be disabled if you enable blur reduction. See the review by Baddass on TFT central for more info. Also your gfx card needs to be...
